American master visited the Cabreúva MMA Project, praised the work with children and highlighted the power of martial arts in students' development.

Last Saturday, June 13th, Cabreúva received a special visit for those who follow and value martial arts. Master Eric Silver, a major international reference in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, karate and self-defense, came to the city and took part in a gathering focused on learning, exchange of experiences and appreciation of the sport.
With a career that began in 1971, Eric Silver is one of the few Americans to have been awarded a black belt by Master Rickson Gracie. He is also a 7th dan black belt and Renshi Shihan in Wado Ryu karate, reflecting decades of dedication to discipline, technique and the development of people through martial arts.

Founder of Zanshin Dojo in 1992, Eric has taught in the United States, Brazil, Japan and Europe. His work combines the principles of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and traditional karate, always with attention to fundamentals and details. For him, correct technique not only improves performance, but also contributes to longevity, efficiency and personal growth.

During the visit, the master was charmed by Cabreúva. He praised the city, said he loved the warmth of the children, was impressed by the project and also tasted the local cuisine. Eric stated that he intends to return to Brazil and will certainly include Cabreúva again on his itinerary.

A wonderful sensei of mine said, we learn a lot of what we need to know, spending time and talking to our fellow martial artists and teachers, not just during the physical training.

My body has been going hard for quite some time in martial arts and life in general. Today, thanks to Dr. Juliano from my shoulder is getting some new life today. These stem cells were harvested when my son was born and thanks to modern technology (and my wife and son), I can have some more fun. Osu! 🎉🥳💪🏼
