We can’t wait to welcome our Eagles’ grandparents and special friends! Visit times vary by grade level, so be sure to check the event information for your student’s scheduled time.

⏰ Saturday, Sept. 12 — Clubs Registration Closes
Don’t forget to register before midnight!

⭐ Help Us Get the SOAR Cart Ready to Roll! ⭐

The SOAR Cart is back beginning September 8, and we need our Eagle community to help make it happen! 💙💛

There are two great ways to help:

🛒 STOCK THE CART
Help us fill the SOAR Cart with prizes our students will be excited to earn! We’re looking for snacks, candy, trading cards, small toys, school supplies, games, and more. Check out the graphic for donation ideas and details — items can even be shipped directly to Eakin!

🙋 VOLUNTEER AT THE CART
We also need volunteers to help students shop and keep the SOAR Cart running throughout the year. Whether you can help weekly, biweekly, or just when your schedule allows, we’d love to have you!

Volunteer schedule:
Kindergarten — Tuesdays, 11:00–12:00
1st Grade — Wednesdays, 8:10–9:10
2nd Grade — Wednesdays, 9:40–10:40
3rd Grade — Biweekly Fridays, 1:50–2:50
4th Grade — Biweekly Fridays, 11:15–12:00
5th Grade — Biweekly Fridays, 12:00–1:00

💛 Grandparents & Special Friends Day is almost here! 💙

We can’t wait to welcome our Eakin grandparents and special friends on Friday, September 11 for a special day celebrating the people who love, encourage, and support our Eagles! 🦅

Guests will enjoy 30 minutes of fun and connection with their student, including a special activity, refreshments, photos, and time together.

Introducing Eakin Eats (& Plays)! We’re kicking off this NEW Eakin tradition on Wednesday, September 16!

🍽️ What’s Eakin Eats? Throughout the year, local restaurant partners will host Eakin spirit nights and donate a portion of purchases back to the Eakin PTO.

🛝 Join Eakin friends for an after-school playdate at Dragon Park, then head to 🍨Jeni’s Hillsboro Village from 4:00–7:00 PM for a sweet treat! Even sweeter: Jeni’s is donating 25% back to Eakin!

✨Dolly Parton on the stage of Eakin Auditorium. A little piece of her magic, forever woven into the story of our school.

We will always be incredibly grateful that Dolly brought her unmistakable warmth, joy, and magic through the doors of Eakin while filming this music video with Linda Perry. For one unforgettable moment, our school became part of her story, and she became a very special part of ours.

What was already a treasured piece of Eakin history feels even more precious now. We’ll always be grateful that a little bit of Dolly magic happened right here. 💛💙
