It's been a fun few weeks of activities and camps for our 4-H'ers! Our High Schools went to State 4-H Council at Rock Eagle on June 26th only to turn around and head to Jekyll 4-H Center for Senior Camp. They had an absolute blast!

Today is the last full day at Rock Eagle our 4-H’ers have had lots of learning, fun, and msde many new friends.

The end of the year means it's time for the Bulldog Buck Store and Club of the Year party! All year round, 5th grade 4-H'ers earn their bucks and in May it's time to spend what they've earned! 💰
But that's not all they earn; there's also clover points! These are earned for the whole class by doing 4-H activities from turning in newsletters to community service projects like collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. The club with the most points are rewarded with a party at the end of the year! 🎉
This year's final club rankings are: 1. Langston, 2. Holt, 3. Hanchey, 4. Starling, and 5. Harper! Congratulations to these classes; we're proud of you and all the other 5th-grade classes this year! 💚🍀

The SAFE Modified Trap State match was Mother's Day weekend, and while the weather may not have been great, our team gave it their all! We couldn't be prouder of everyone that competed. Reid Tucker came in second place as a Junior individual. There were over 440 Junior participants. Senior team scored 98 out of 100 and tied for 4th. It's been a great season for these 4-H'ers. Everyone has had so much growth this year! A special thank you to the volunteer coaches for all of their hard work, along with the parents that stand behind these young people.

4-H Summer Camp is one of Georgia's most beloved youth experiences and this year, Berrien County kids have the chance to be part of it at Rock Eagle!

Set on a stunning, historic campus home to the famous Rock Eagle mound, campers spend their week doing what kids do best: having fun and making memories that last a lifetime.

✅ Swimming, canoeing, archery, crafts, science & MORE
✅ Supervised by UGA Extension/4-H staff, trained volunteers & teen leaders
✅ Friendships, confidence, leadership & memories that last a lifetime

Total Camp Cost: $435
$145 non-refundable deposit due at registration
Payments by June 1, 2026
Includes lodging, meals, activities, transportation, camp T-shirt & insurance
(Meals to/from camp and canteen money not included.)

On Tuesday, April 21st, the Berrien 4-H poultry judging team competed in Tift County. It was a great day, and our 4-H'ers did fantastic. Our high school members did great as always. Our new members, most of whom were 5th graders, did wonderful for their first time. If this is where they're starting, we can't wait to see what they'll do in the future! We're proud of everyone who competed!
