The next revival needs discernment, not fear. 🕊️⚡

AI is already in your sanctuary — whether your leadership knows it or not. It's drafting the flyer. Translating the outreach text. Sitting in the youth ministry's group chat.

The question was never if the church would meet artificial intelligence.

The question is whether we meet it with wisdom — or whether we get left behind pretending the future isn't knocking.

AI will never replace the pulpit. It will never carry the anointing, discern a soul, or sit with a grieving mother at 2am. But it can free up your time, sharpen your outreach, and help you steward the calling God already gave you — if you lead it instead of letting it lead you.

Every major leap in human progress has been met with hesitation. From the printing press to the internet, there have always been voices warning that new tools are dangerous or even demonic. Today, we hear the same fears about AI and immersive technology.

But as leaders and pioneers, we cannot afford to retreat from the spaces where the future is being built. God’s design for humanity has always involved growth, discovery, and stewardship of the resources He allows us to uncover. When we approach technology with wisdom rather than worry, we transform it from a threat into an instrument of grace.

We are called to prove all things and hold fast to what is good. Let’s lead the charge in using digital innovation to spread hope, create inclusive communities, and reflect divine light in the digital square.

Fear is a natural response to the unknown, but as believers, we are not called to a spirit of fear. When it comes to artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, it’s easy to look at the rapid pace of change and feel anxious or assume the worst. But what if we looked at it through the lens of stewardship?

Technology itself is a tool—neither inherently holy nor demonic. It is the hands that wield it and the hearts that direct it that matter. First Thessalonians 5:21 reminds us to “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” This is our mandate for the digital age. We are called to exercise godly discernment, to understand the tools of our time, and to use them to uplift, connect, and build.

Let’s not surrender the future of technology to fear. Instead, let’s pioneer spaces where faith and innovation intersect for the betterment of humanity.

AI can’t replace God’s guidance. It never could. But the fear itself is telling on something — and I’m not letting the algorithm take the blame for it.
