I wanted to pop on to celebrate the life of Jeannie Seely. Jeannie narrated my documentary The Rise of the Southern Biscuit. She was a huge star who took the time to voice a little local PBS documentary on southern biscuits. I had no budget for the film and paid for it myself. She voiced the doc for $200. She laughed when we talked later. We both had no idea the documentary would garner the popularity it did. It was a labor of love. She was one cool generous lady. Jeannie is singing on high today in heaven. She will be missed.

Doggies need biscuits too! I made my new puppy "Bunny". a batch of fresh baked sweet potato biscuits made with coconut oil and egg. Blended just enough flour to make it into a dough. Baked them low and slow.. Heathy and she loves them. Should we have a doggie biscuit baking class?
