I was reading my Moms in Prayer today and wanted to share:

Let’s remember in the face of mass tragedy, su***de, unrighteous curriculum, drugs, addiction, bullies, politics and all the issues we want to shield our precious ones from, that God is God, and He is Sovereign, All Powerful, Able and Faithful…no plan of His can be thwarted.

What are your struggles with engaging with your child’s schooling and teachers?

There are so many challenges out there for our teachers. Ultimately, the primary focus of any educator is to do right by our children. As parents, we need to stay engaged with our teachers, for our children.

Improvise, Adapt, and Overcome - Professional Educators of Tennessee “Improvise, Adapt, and Overcome,” is a motto among many of my fellow Marine Corps vets. We learned in the Marines Corps that the ability to put these traits into action helps us in life no matter what our job or our role would shape our culture.

There seems to be disdain and denial in several counties in TN. Here is another call to the community for school board elections in Hamilton county.
