My name is Laura Judd, and I’m thrilled to be at Dan Mills this year! I received my Master’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Tennessee. This is my 10th year teaching in MNPS, and I have also spent time teaching in Oregon and Tanzania, East Africa. I am especially passionate about supporting students to develop their social emotional skills in addition to finding creative ways to help them grow academically. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, traveling, and trying to keep up with my 3-year-old son.

What do a Kona Ice truck, a giant inflatable water slide, and a bubble gum bubble blowing competition all have in common? They will all be at the Stratford Cluster Back to School Bash! Don’t forget to mark your calendars for this community-building event happening Saturday, July 29 from 10am-noon.

We’ll also have representatives from enrollment, transportation, and translation services on hand to help families get the information you need to start the year.

Remember to wear your school’s t-shirt and show off your school pride! This event is rain or shine. If there’s rain, find us in the gym!
