Jade shares how Student Coaching helped her move from feeling unsure about her goals to actually knowing how to achieve them.
For many teens, the challenge is that they don’t have a clear plan or tools to follow through on their goals.
What changes everything is not just knowing what you want, it’s learning how to get there.
We’re proud of the growth Jade has experienced and the clarity she’s built for her future.

Parenting a teen can feel like walking the line between wanting to help and not wanting to push too hard.
Often teens don’t need another lecture, they need support, accountability, encouragement, and someone who helps them believe in themselves again.
That’s what coaching is designed to do. 💛
Our coaches help students develop:
âś” Confidence
âś” Motivation
âś” Time management
âś” Leadership skills
âś” Accountability
âś” Healthy habits and routines
Success isn’t just about grades! Our goal is for our students to become capable, resilient young adults.

Most teens are taught how to set goals, such as:
âś… Get better grades.
âś… Make the team.
âś… Get into college.
Very few are ever taught to pause and ask the question that actually drives lasting change: “Who do I want to become?”
When identity is unclear, goals feel random, and motivation comes and goes. But when a teen starts with identity, everything shifts:
• Choices become clearer
• Habits become more intentional
• Goals actually stick
Real change doesn’t start with doing more. It starts with becoming someone different.

Parenting teens can easily pull us into control mode: reminding, correcting, managing, and trying to stay ahead of everything. But real influence doesn’t come from control. It comes from connection.
When teens feel connected, they’re more open to guidance, more willing to communicate, and more likely to take ownership of their choices.
Control may create short-term compliance, but connection builds long-term trust.
A simple reminder for the moments it feels hard: Connection over control.

A lot of teens start with goals and wonder why they still feel stuck or unmotivated. The missing piece is often vision.
Vision gives direction. It helps a teen (or anyone) understand who they are becoming and where they’re headed. Goals then provide the structure to actually get there.
When vision is clear, goals stop feeling random and start feeling meaningful.
Direction first. Structure second.
We have an entire module on vision in our student coaching program. Comment "OFFER" to learn more about how we can help your teen clarify their vision.

The transition from high school to college is often treated like a finish line.
Get good grades → get accepted → you’re ready.
But every parent knows it’s not that simple. The real challenge isn’t getting into college. The truth of the matter is, it’s about functioning well once they get there.
Time management. Emotional regulation. Self-direction. Decision-making. Confidence.
These aren’t automatic skills. They’re built.
That’s exactly why Student Coaching exists.
We help teens develop the internal tools they need to thrive, not just survive, the transition into college and beyond. From goal setting and emotional intelligence to clarity, focus, and independence, we walk alongside them as they grow into capable young adults.
If your teen is approaching this transition, now is the time to build the foundation. Comment OFFER to learn more about how Student Coaching can support your young adult through this transition.

It’s easy to think that explaining it one more time will finally make it stick, but most of the time, it’s not the lecture that changes behaviour; it’s what happens after the conversation.
Follow-through is what builds trust, structure, and consistency in your home. When teens experience clear, calm expectations paired with consistent follow-through, they begin to understand what actually matters.
Less repeating.
More reinforcing.
More consistency. That’s where real change happens.

Most parents aren’t trying to nag, they’re trying to make sure things actually get done, but the way we ask matters more than we realize.
“Did you do it?” often puts teens on the defensive or leads to surface-level answers that don’t actually change behavior.
When we shift from checking in to coaching through questions, something powerful happens: teens start thinking for themselves.
Try replacing:
❌ “Did you do it?”
with:
✔️ “What’s your plan?”
✔️ “What’s your next step?”
✔️ “What do you need to follow through?”
These small language shifts build ownership, responsibility, and confidence over time.
Meet Coach Camila. With her passion for helping teens grow and her experience guiding students through real-life challenges, Camila brings both heart and skill to every coaching conversation.
Because coaching isn’t just about setting goals, it’s about helping teens:
• Build confidence
• Take ownership of their decisions
• Develop habits that actually stick
• Navigate challenges with clarity
Imagine your teen having someone in their corner who is fully focused on helping them grow, think, and succeed.
Your teen could have a coach like Camila.

It’s easy to slip into explaining, correcting, and reminding, especially when you care and want your teen to get it right.
But sometimes the most powerful shift is simple:
Listen more.
Lecture less.
When teens feel heard, they’re more likely to open up, reflect, and take ownership of their choices. Listening doesn’t mean letting everything slide, it means creating space for real connection before correction.
Progress starts with understanding.

If you feel like you’re repeating yourself and your teen still isn’t listening, you’re not alone. Most parents default to explaining more, reminding more, or talking longer.
The truth is: more talking doesn’t create more listening. It often creates more resistance.
The shift?
From lecturing → asking
From telling → coaching
When teens feel like they have a voice and a choice, they’re far more likely to engage and follow through.
