PTA Class of 2024 just completed their aquatic therapy lab!

It's been a busy week for our PTA students. The hybrid cohort learned all about wound care using our new wound models! The on-ground cohort had a special guest, Dr. Dee came to lead the spinal cord injury lab. The students worked hard learning how to transfer from the floor to the wheelchair without the use of their legs. The winter quarter is almost over!

Not ALL of our students enjoyed the superficial cold lab…but all hung in there and did great!

The on-ground cohort did a great job drawing the lobes of the brain and their functions in Advanced Neuro today!

Happy to begin the winter quarter with Dr. Jonathon Brown from Benchmark PT teaching on test taking strategies!

Our on-ground students are about to head out to clinic for the first time! They are fine-tuning their therex skills in PTA2100!

Dr. Moore is SUPER excited about our new wound care models!

The students had a great time at last week's social event. Thank you South College and Jimmy John's for fueling their minds!

Introducing our newest cohort! This hybrid class is jumping right in to all things Anatomy and Kinesiology- they are doing great- wish them luck!!

Please send good thoughts to our recent graduates as they are taking the licensure exam today and tomorrow. We know that they are all going to do amazing on this big exam.

Our PTA students spent the morning teaching students in the Dental program the proper way to transfer patients that may use an assistive device. It was a great way to interact with other disciplines!
