This weekend I had completed a major milestone in my road to mastering my craft as a fi****ms instructor by completing the Instructor Development Course under Tom Givens of Rangemaster!

The path to mastery is to remain in a constant state of learning and transformation. The best learning experiences are those that make you re-evaluate and sharpen everything you thought you knew about your craft. This class not only met that criteria, but FAR exceeded it.

Im grateful to and for being my support system. This is just the beginning! The climb to the highest heights has just begun!

I will continue to do my best and GIVE my best to my people everyday, because they deserve nothing less.

To my folks in Tennessee:

I HIGHLY recommend that you get your Enhanced Concealed Carry permit instead of the Online "permit".

Especially if you desire to carry across state lines.

Consider this information from Citizens Safety Academy's page:

"Based on our preliminary review of the new statute and ongoing discussions with the Department of Safety, here’s our summary of the main differences between the two permits:

Enhanced permit holders can carry either open or concealed; Concealed permit holders must always cover up the gun.

Concealed permit is easier to obtain (less training required, online training allowed, lower application fee).

There’s no lifetime permit with the Concealed option (lifetime permits are Enhanced only).

Public college employees with Enhanced permits can carry in parks with students present, unless there’s an athletic event. Concealed permit holders cannot carry anywhere near school-related events.

While reciprocity between states so far has been largely unaffected, there are a few states that recognize Tennessee’s Enhanced Carry Permit but do not recognize Tennessee’s Concealed Carry Permit."
