One year ago, today. My final act of cheering on my clients after 32 years as their proudest mama, biggest fan, and loudest cheerleader!

I’m doing a whole new thing—a mission I believe my whole life has journeyed towards.

There are young clients, over the years, that come to your studio and you say “You’ll have a deal, if you want it, before you graduate high school.” Such was the case with .davis. So stinkin’ smart, hard workin’, and talented.

Her Platinum certified track has amassed over 1.1 billion streams and hit number one on the American billboard charts this past week. Not to mention already hitting number one on the global charts. CONGRATS .davis So happy for your success! 🎉

I LOVE this quote about Sara in MusicRow magazine “You may have beat the 10 year rule, but you’ve put in your 10,000 hours already.”

Livin’ the dream comes when your brave enough to chase it, friends. It may not look like we thought it would, but all of us are capable of so much when we BELIEVE in our dreams! 💕

But I consider myself so honored to have not only worked with so many talented people over the years but also incredibly fortunate to have lived the Nashville dream that only God could've planted in my heart for 20+ years. Clint Johnson in the French quarter. So fun to catch up and hear him sing...

If ya didn’t know already, you can hear Clint on the Ma Rainey soundtrack. He had two cuts make the album. So fun to hear him recount the experience of recording with a live orchestra. 💕

Many, many talented individuals have come through my studio over thirty years of teaching, but Clint Johnson is hands down one of the finest voices I’ve ever had the privilege of working with. I was so fortunate to catch up with him on an overnight stay in New Orleans. To hear him sing in the French quarter warmed my jazz-lovin’ heart... I only wish I could’ve spent the entire day.
