We’ve been wanting to bring you all here for this NPPA Best of Video Photojournalism Contest workshop to be inspired, learn and celebrate... since 2019. It means the world that you showed up this weekend. That you asked questions. That you critiqued your peers. I can’t begin to express my gratitude!! Keep this going.. it doesn’t have to stop June 6th and wait for the next get together. Keep critiquing, keep asking, keep talking.

As for today… like we learned from Michael DelGiudice, go find some little victories on your next assignment!!

Good morning…! What a fabulous day yesterday! Enjoy breakfast on your own this morning and we will have coffee brewing this morning at the WTVF NewsChannel 5 studio. If you are attending this mornings sessions, it’s important that you be there between 9-9:30 because of the security gates. Otherwise it may take us a while for us to get you. Can’t wait to see you!

**FOR THOSE WITH CARS** whether you are staying at the TownePlace Suites or not, we have a WTVF parking lot that will be available to you - very walkable to all the venues Saturday & Sunday. It’s gorgeous out.. you’ll want to walk around.  The gate will be up after 6pm tonight.

Looking good for arrivals courtesy WTVF’s Sky 5! Musicians Hall of Fame (awards banquet), WTVF studios (Sunday breaksout session) and Towne Place Suites (where most are staying) are marked up. TN State Museum (in chopper monitor) is just a few walkable blocks to the North.
