Cambridge Early Learning Center's Extended Learning Program recently hosted families for Math Madness—complete with LEGO builds, basketball fun, and a number line obstacle course—and welcomed parents as class readers a few weeks prior. Nothing beats seeing our Pre-K scholars learn, laugh, and grow alongside the people who know them best.

Shout-out to Cambridge ELP Site Lead, Pilar Howard, for always thinking of creative ways to keep things fun, inclusive, and centered on learning!

This week, our team held two cluster partner meetings—bringing together schools and community partners across the feeder pattern to strengthen how we serve students and families.

When elementary, middle, and high schools work in alignment, students experience a true through‑line of support—from their first day of school all the way to graduation.

We’re grateful for partners who stay committed for the long haul, collaborating across grade levels to ensure families are supported at every stage. This is what it looks like when we work better together!

Join Metro Nashville Public Schools Family and Community University for our College & Career Readiness Family EngageMEnt Summit held at Martin Professional Development Center on
March 21 from 10am – 2:00pm.

Doors open at 9:00 am to network with colleges, universities, and
other community resource organizations. Families can attend sessions on budgeting, FAFSA, ACT
prep, and job readiness.

Lunch will be provided along with giveaways and resources that the entire family can use.

We marked the day with a friendly desk‑decorating competition — and let’s just say our office is looking very festive.

More importantly, we’re feeling grateful. Thank you to our partners, school communities, and colleagues who bring collaboration, connection, and purpose to our work all year long. We couldn’t do it without you!

As part of our continuing response to the recent ice storm, we are providing food support for students and families this Thursday, February 5th. All items are available while supplies last.

Pearl-Cohn Entertainment Magnet High School - 904 26th Avenue North
