Wrapping up gifted onboarding & addressing a complaint I hear more often now than at any other point in the year - boredom!
While the new year kicks off gently and we invest in routines, procedures, & review, some kids complain of boredom.
To that, I say, “GAME ON!”
I’m reading my favorite brand new 2026 picture book about boredom, introducing the 4 types of boredom (thanks Andi McNair & Justin Mitchell ), & then I’m introducing 8 ways gifted thinkers can level up their OWN learning in the classroom!
Whether you’re the gifted educator or the general educator, these are fun, no-prep brain games we can share with our kids so they can make the most of their learning and extend their thinking!
Layered with depth & complexity while framed as games, these are going to teach our learners some awesome new thinking, comprehension, connection, & reflection skills!
