We were excited to join the The Catholic Business League this morning as they welcomed one of our alumni, Robert Strobel of Parking Management Company (PMC). Robert spoke about the parking business in Nashville, and the impact of his upbringing in the Catholic faith on his work at PMC.

Sister Jane Dominic Laurel, O.P., S.T.D., Associate Professor of Theology, addressed the topic "How to Discern Your Vocation with Clarity and Peace" at Stanford University on May 13, 2026. A lively seminar discussion followed the next morning. Both events were sponsored by the Thomistic Institute at Stanford University (in the heart of Northern California's Silicon Valley).

On Monday, April 20, Sr. Evangeline Marie, Sr. Christina, and Sr. Raphaela, job-embedded candidates in the MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) program at Aquinas College, presented their portfolio projects. These presentations included their philosophy of education, demographics of the schools where they are teaching, and artifacts demonstrating the integration of the InTASC standards and the Aquinas signature piece: Teaching, Gift and Mission in the classroom. We are proud of these candidates and their accomplishments.

Aquinas College celebrated nine graduates during its Baccalaureate Mass and 64th Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 1, in the Aquinas Center.

On Wednesday, April 22, Sister Immaculata Marie Policare and Sister Jordan Caeli Geiger (center) presented their capstone project for their Masters in Education (M.Ed.) Scholarly Research and Inquiry Course. Sister Immaculata Marie presented her findings on how peer modeling is an effective tool for reading fluency in children. Sister Jordan Caeli shared her discoveries on the relationship between the use of narrative and its impact on overall engagement, increased historical empathy, and academic achievement.

Please join us for our Sacred Art Workshop July 5th - 10th. This workshop will be a realistic idealized portrait of Our Lady at the Foot of the Cross. Taught for advanced students using oil paint, or acrylic paint, in grisaille technique. Each student will bring his/her own supplies. Easels will be provided. The class will take place Mon-Fri, from 9am - 4:30pm.All meals and overnight accommodations provided - $1,100
