Quick update from the conference in KY because it’s full on (but also my happy place)!! Missing my partner in crime who couldn’t make the trip for personal reasons, and this has also helped me realize it’s who keeps my head on straight at these events and makes me look put together and seem cool, and I miss our harmonies, laughter, car talk and stage banter 🤩 And I’m also thankful for special music friends who’ve come to the rescue - a huge shout out to .music and his talented son Nick for being our stand in “janes” and helping me host our “ it’s a musical life with the magnolia Janes” showcase room last night. So many talented artists graced our micro stage and I hope you’ll check them out!

I’ve met SO many awesome songwriters and folk musicians and heard so many beautiful songs this weekend, and there was also a tornado warning during the main showcase that got us huddled up singing in bathrooms (this has quickly become a highlight for me).
Late night rounds and not much sleep the last few days, but a whole lot of soul fuel that’ll keep me going for a while to come!!
Feeling grateful and excited for what’s to come!
