Get Your 2 Year ABC Server Permit/TIPS Certification to legally serve alcohol in Tennessee. If you serve alcohol in any capacity (server, manager, food runner, bartender, etc.) you must have an ABC Server Permit or you and your employer can face big fines.

We have an ABC/TIPS class scheduled for Monday, August 3, 2026 from 5:00pm – 10:00pm (Arrive at 4:30pm). We have another ABC/TIPS class scheduled for Sunday, August 9, 2026 from 10:00am to 3:00pm (arrive at 9:30am) and one on Sunday August 23, 2026 from 10:00am – 3:00pm (arrive at 9:30am).

Classes are held at 1451 Elm Hill Pike, Nashville TN in Suite 154 on the 1st floor. By attending our class you’ll receive both your TABC Permit and your TIPS Certification for the same price. Some of the nicest hotels and bars will only hire you if you’re TIPS Certified. The TIPS certification is recognized in all 50 states and over 45 countries. DACA/Immigrants with various statuses can now get their Server Permit to serve alcohol in Tennessee!

Our trainers make sure that you actually receive your ABC Card so beware of online scams. Snacks and coffee are provided. Dee, recently graduated from the Professional Bartending School of Nashville and the next week she bartended her first wedding. She served a variety of cocktails to a fun group of guests who danced the night away at a beautiful location outside of Murfreesboro. Dee and the other bartender from our school were paid $50.00 an hour plus tips and both ended up going home with $600.00 a piece.

On a side note, we found out the Bride’s brother had attended our program 4 years ago and had bartended his way through college even buying his first car from the tips that he had made. Bartending was flexible allowing him to make great money but still have time to study.

It was a big week for Dee because she also landed a great part-time job bartending at the Springhill Suites by Marriott in Franklin. Dee is super nice so if you’re in the area stop by and have a cocktail with her. Congratulations Dee! Keep rocking!

David Edwards, the Director of the Professional Bartending School recently stopped to visit Jamie, a past graduate of the Nashville campus at Three Rifles Distillery Co. in Clarksville, TN. He really enjoyed his visit and absolutely loved the atmosphere, the owners of the establishment and the overall vibe of this cool bar near Ft. Cambell.

Jamie had been in the corporate world for over 20 years and got tired of the business world and decided she needed a break and wanted to do something completely different. Jamie, a military Mom and avid motorcycle enthusiast, decided bartending would be a nice change and decided to attend the Nashville Bartending School. She has amazing people skills and the owners are ecstatic with the job she’s done. Great job Jamie!

Randy, long time instructor of the Professional Bartending School recently visited Rena, a December 2025 graduate of the Nashville campus! Rena is an amazing bartender who has been super successful since graduating our program.

Rena previously worked in the fast food industry for 3 years and at 17 she decided she wanted to bartend. Despite her friends telling her no one would hire her turning 18 and in High School, Rena’s started at the Professional Bartending School of Nashville the week she celebrated her 18th Birthday. She rocked our program and shortly after graduating she landed two bartending jobs right away.

Rena was hired at Amruth Sports Bar and Restaurant in Franklin and also at The Spot Burgers and Beers in Spring Hill. She has turned out to be an outstanding bartender and just recently got promoted to Assistant Manager at Amruth. We are so proud of you Rena! Keep rocking the bar!!

On Sunday night we stopped by Phat Bites, a popular hotspot in the heart of Donelson to visit Sarah, a 2025 graduate of the Professional Bartending School of Nashville. We definitely picked the right night to visit because the bar was rocking. They have the best food, amazing drinks, super friendly clientele with fun regulars, and the music was jamming.

Sarah’s built up a huge following at Phat Bites which had previously been featured on “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives“ on the Food Network. She loves a fast-paced bar and she can definitely handle a crowd because she never stops moving. Sarah attended our school because she wanted to become a better bartender despite people telling her bartending school was a waste of time. She said attending was one of the best decisions she’s ever made. She’s seen our job placement program work and now she tells everyone about the Professional Bartending School. Stop by and visit Sarah because she’s one cool bartender who serves the best shots and cocktails!
