Who am I?
I’m Emma , a college student from Lake Como, Italy. I study Economics at Bocconi University in Milan🇮🇹.
I’ve always had a big passion for traveling and spending time outdoors. I’ve always loved the States and I lived in MN for a year🎣☀️.
I do cheerleading, and in the past I’ve also done synchronized swimming and track. I also love food🍕🍝… especially tiramisú😋

What do I do?
I’m doing my internship program in the USA this summer, working together with a company called Southwestern Advantage. I am super excited!! The company has been around for 170 years and has put together one of the coolest jump-start programs for the little ones to get them excited about learning and reading, and also reference books for school-age kids to help with homework and preparing for tests.📚📲

Why do I do it?
I want to push myself outside of my comfort zone and become more confident and comfortable talking to people. I want to continue growing as a person, and I believe that comes through hard work and dedication, values that both my family and this program have taught me.
💪🏻I can’t wait to meet you guys, learn from each of you, and share my own experiences along the way this summer!

I’m so proud that I’m able to help families with education and make a positive impact in the communities🥰

Just got back from such an amazing weekend in Jankowo Dolne, Poland for Base Day 2026 and I’m still smiling thinking about it.

We spent the days working really hard on both physical and technical prep, pushing ourselves and learning a lot, but also laughing a ton and just enjoying the whole experience together 💪📚

I got to meet so many kind and driven people, and I already love the team I’ll be spending the summer with. It made everything feel very real and I’m so excited for what’s coming.

We also had our turf reveal and this summer we’re heading to… UTAH!! 🇺🇸🏜️☀️⛰️

I’m honestly so excited and feel really lucky to have this opportunity. I can’t wait to meet all the amazing families and be part of your communities this summer 💛
