We’re in Japan right now and as I was having breakfast this morning, it dawned on me how slow I was going. I can’t remember the last time I was this curious about what I was tasting. It makes me want to try so many new recipes when I get home. I love understanding how and why a dish comes together. I want to take this with me forever. ❤️

I hope your New Year has been so sweet. We celebrated with cocktails and French fries like we did last year. Vinegar spray for fries?! Genius. 🤌

Buzz is in the air for change. How are you feeling with that? Do you want to tap into it but you’re afraid of not following through? We’ve had the same Christmas breakfast for as long as I can remember with my mom’s breakfast casserole and fruit salad. My sister started hosting us when she had kids and I look forward to it every year. Posting this so I remember to make a fancy table more often this year. ❤️
