The Marriage You Want is Right Around the Corner….
A lot of people say they want to SAVE their MARRIAGE

I remember for me, I had lost hope for us and had tried everything (I knew to do) to help get my husband to do the things I wanted him to do.
I remember thinking that was the answer for us…the key to me feeling happier, more peaceful and less lonely.
In my mind I had a running laundry list of all the things HE needed to do…I was completely focused on him.
That was NOT working and put simply…it never does.

🙌🏼Want Marriage Facts?...Read On👉🏼
️⭐️On my walk earlier this week I came across new facts about marriage as I was reading The Seven Principles of Making Marriage Work by Dr. Jon Gottman.
I have always been a fan of Dr. Gottman's research and talk about his methods frequently with my clients. So my ears perked up when I heard new research I wasn't familiar with.
❣️Fact #1: Unhappily married couples have a 35% higher chance of getting sick and have a lower life expectancy by 4-8 years. There is more physical stress in these relationships which also puts more wear and tear on the mind and body.
❣️Fact #2: Happily married couples have a stronger immune system, which spearheads the bodies defenses against illness AND as a result these couples have a HIGHER life expectancy of 4-8 years longer than unhappily married couples.
❣️Fact #3: The higher emotional intelligence the better marriage outcomes.
🤔What is emotional intelligence? It is the ability to mange both your own emotions and understand the emotions of people around you. AKA...empathy:)
⭐️In marriage this can look like simply saying "yes AND" more often than "yea, BUT".
⭐️It can also look more like listening to understand, rather than listening to prove yourself right or for YOUR turn to talk. (Ouch!)
So you might be reading this and wondering, "Ok Julie...I want more time with my grand kids and want to have a better quality of life...how do I go from being unhappily married to happily. That feels impossible?
🙏🏼Well the GOOD news is ...CHANGE is 100% possible with the Lord.
🦋I see and speak with women ALL the time who share the changes that are happening in their marriages and the differences they notice in themselves AND in their husbands on a weekly basis.
🙏🏼It IS POSSIBLE!
🦋Just last week a client of mine was saying she, "couldn't wait for her husband to come home from a work trip because she actually missed him...that was new."
🙌🏼Victory!!!
❣️So don't become a statistic and believe the lie that change isn't possible for you OR that you just have to resign yourself to an unhappy marriage.
🦋You can absolutely find JOY, FREEDOM and TRANSFORMATION...right where YOUR are!

It's Ok to NOT Be Ok Sometimes!
️That's right.
I get it. I am actually having an off week myself.
Yes...they happen to me too.
I'm having one of those weeks in my life, marriage and business where if I listen to my thoughts and feelings...I might as well hang it up.
If I let me feelings rule my mind and heart...they would eat me alive.
If I let me thoughts tell me who I am, I would believe a lie from the enemy instead of the TRUTH.
this you too?
Well...it's true for all of us.
If we let our thought and feelings define us, not only would be living counter-cultural to the bible,;but we would constantly be mislead, confused and living without any grounding or sense of purpose.
God is the one who determines our identity!
God is the one who has set the course for you and for me.
He has chosen us. He purchased YOU with a price!
YOU are a daughter of the King!
It is so easy to loose sight of this truths if we are not bathing ourselves in the word and in the truth on a daily basis...especially on those bad days.
SO what do you do about it?
Well...You start with having compassion for yourself when you are having a bad day and let yourself feel what you need to feel.
Ask the Lord for HIS perspective on your situation...NOT yours.
Ask the Lord for his guidance on how to proceed in your marriage, relationship business...instead of listening to those ever changing thoughts and feelings that so easily contradict what & who God says you ARE!
If you are recognizing this is a HUGE issue for you AND you need help finding the truth in your marriage and you feel SO easily led astray by your thoughts and feelings...then I encourage you to reach out to me.
There is truly freedom waiting around the corner for you.
Does that mean you will never have bad days again? Most certainly not.
What I can promise you is that you can have SO much more clarity on yourself, your story, your thoughts and your feelings-SO you spend less time in those negative feelings and thoughts and KNOW how to get out of them.

⭐️💕🙏🏼Amazing opportunity to witness this VISION come to life from one of my couple clients last night. God is AMAZING 🤩
🦋This couple just completed my program and truly had a transformative experience—not only individually, but as a couple, and in their relationship with the Lord.
