Our Pre-K classes celebrated the end of school with their first annual Art Show! They are ready for Kindergarten in the fall! Metro Nashville Public Schools
Hunters Lane High School has been designated as a distribution site under the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Summer Food Service Program’s rural non-congregate meals authorization. This initiative allows for the distribution of meal kits to eligible children in designated rural areas.
Through this program, MNPS Nutrition Services will provide meal kits containing 10 breakfasts and 10 lunches per kit. Distribution will occur once every two weeks, for a total of four dates over the summer.

Time: 1- 2:30 p.m.
Pick-up will take place at a designated location outside of the school building, and a parent or guardian must be present to collect the meal kits.

Wednesday, 5/20, is all about our 5th grade. Their promotion will be tomorrow at 11:00. Doors to the library will open at 10:30. Visitors will sign it at the office (remember to bring your ID) and then go to the library. We are encouraging our students to dress their best if possible. After the ceremony, visitors are invited to stay for a 5th grade picnic. Metro Nashville Public Schools
Field Day is tomorrow! Pre-K is 8:45 to 9:45, K-2 is 8:30 to 11:00 and 3-5 is 11:45 to 2:15. Parents sign in at the front office (be sure to have your ID). Students must stay with their classes. No lunch visitors on Friday due to changed eating times. Make sure your student has a water bottle and sun protection. Unfortunately, there will not be food trucks or Kona Ice. The excitement was real last week! Thanks to Can'd Aid and their donor Yasso, every 1st grade student was eligible to receive a new bike. Just in time for summer break! Thanks to Mr. Clapp and our 5th grade students who helped coordinate and unload the bikes. Metro Nashville Public Schools
