Celebrating the Future Class of 2030
Today, we had the joyous occasion of celebrating our 8th-grade students as they prepare to embark on their high school journey. The promotion ceremony was a delightful event filled with hope, pride, and excitement for the future.
The ceremony began with opening remarks from the school principal Ms. Hawaya Wilson, who warmly welcomed students, families, and staff. She expressed her pride in the students' achievements and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.
Our Student council President Hope Roberts and S.C. Secretary Wren Burns took to the podium to deliver heartfelt speeches. They reflected on their middle school experiences, shared memorable moments, and expressed gratitude to their teachers and parents for their unwavering support.
The 8th Grade Drama students were outstanding as they performed “A Season of Love" form the musical Rent. The 6th and 7th grade band and provided music during the processional and recessional, adding a festive atmosphere to the celebration. Their performances were a testament to the talent and dedication of our young musicians.
Each student was called to the stage to receive their promotion certificate. This symbolic gesture marked the completion of their middle school journey and the beginning of a new chapter in high school.
As the future class of 2030, these students are poised to make a significant impact on the world. Their energy, creativity, and passion promise a bright future. We look forward to seeing their continued growth and success in the years to come.
Congratulations to the future class of 2030! May your high school years be filled with learning, discovery, and joy.
