❤️📚 Meet the ladies who keep Crieve Hall Elementary running! 📚❤️

Every day, Ms. Alex, Ms. Catherine, and Ms. Kim are the smiling faces holding down the fort at the front of our school. From welcoming families and helping students to answering a million questions and keeping all the little details moving, we truly couldn’t do it without them! 🫶

And can we talk about those CUTIE shirts?! 👀❤️ They’re looking pretty fabulous while they’re busy being the heart of our front office!

A HUGE thank you to our Grounds & Garden Committee and all of the amazing helpers who came out this week despite the heat to get their hands dirty! 🧤💚

Thanks to your hard work, our school garden is looking SO much better and is officially getting prepped for fall planting! 🍂🥕🌱

We’re so grateful for the time, energy, and love you’re pouring into our school and creating a space where our Cardinals can learn, grow, and get a little dirt under their fingernails. ❤️

📸 SAVE THE DATE! School Picture Day is Wednesday, September 30th! 📸

We need a little help behind the scenes! We’re looking for 5 volunteers to help from 8:15–10:30 AM that morning. Volunteers will help the photographers organize students, keep things moving, and get everyone smile-ready! 😁📸

We’re using Beanstack this year to track our reading—and we’re officially in a friendly competition with schools across the district! 🏆📖

Every minute your child reads at home can help Crieve Hall rack up points and climb the leaderboard. So whether they’re reading independently, listening to you read, or squeezing in a few pages before bed… LOG IT! 🙌

🎯 Our goal: DEFEAT THE OTHER SCHOOLS!

Bring your gloves, bring the kids, and join us for a little time outdoors helping care for this special space our students enjoy all year long. No green thumb necessary! Whether you can stay for 20 minutes or an hour, every helping hand makes a difference!

Did you know you can sign up to join your child for lunch at school? They LOVE to have a monthly lunch guest! 🥪

Here's this year's lunch schedule by grade level so you know when your student’s lunch period takes place.

📅 Lunch sign-ups will begin after Labor Day, and we’ll share the signup link as soon as it’s available.

🎂 Have a birthday coming up before then? If your child’s birthday is before sign-ups open, you can check in with the front office and visit your child for their birthday lunch as a special exception! They get a Happy Birthday serenade from the entire grade and you don't want to miss it! 🎶

And yes—you have options! You can bring lunch from home or purchase lunch in the cafeteria line!

Meet your 2026–2027 Crieve Hall PTA Co-Presidents, Emily Cavezza & Katie Tsakeres!

You may have seen these two around CHES, and now they’re officially teaming up to help lead our PTA and keep the incredible momentum going!

✨ Emily Cavezza is mom to 3rd and 5th graders at CHES and is no stranger to the PTA. She previously served as PTA President in 2023–2024 and VP in 2022–2023. When she’s not busy supporting our school, you can find her baking up the sweet treats at Emily’s Cookie Corner 🍪

✨ Katie Tsakeres is mom to a Kindergartener, 1st grader and 3rd grader at CHES. She also co-owns Melrose Aesthetics and brings a whole lot of heart (and business mindset) to everything she does. ❤️

Both Emily and Katie deeply love Crieve Hall Elementary and stepped into these roles because they believe in this school, this community and the important work
