25 years later, we remember.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families forever changed, and the survivors who continue to carry the weight of that day.

We honor the first responders who ran toward danger, the healthcare teams who cared for the injured, and the countless people who offered a helping hand, a comforting voice, or a place of refuge during our nation’s darkest hours.

As caregivers, we know that healing is not always something we can see - and that some wounds remain long after the years have passed.

Know before you go.

Freestanding ERs may provide initial evaluation, but if you need surgery, specialized care or an overnight hospital stay, you could require an ambulance transfer to another facility - potentially adding more time, expense and stress to an already difficult situation.

When every minute matters, choosing a local, full-service hospital emergency department can help keep your care connected, your medical records in one place and the services you may need close by.
