Nashua Technology Center Nashua Technology Center - Curiosity: The Heart of Learning

The Nashua Technology Center offers Career and Technical Education courses within the Nashua High School curriculum. This state-of-the-art educational resource allows students to immerse themselves in a career field through one of its 19 career specific 2-year programs, as well as within its many shorter term career exploratory classes. Learning is hands-on as students gain real-world experiences

through the application of the academic and technical skills in these high school courses. Our classrooms and labs are equipped with the latest technology and our students learn from teachers who are seasoned professionals in their industry. Career and Technical Education helps students to succeed in school and to see the connections between academics and real-world success!

Next week, our hallways and labs will come alive again. We are incredibly excited to welcome our students back for another year of discovery, innovation, and career exploration. With fresh programs like Emergency Services at North and the return of Construction at South, this year is packed with opportunities.

Our WBL Coordinator Jamie Nadeau had a great time visiting two of our Electrical students during their summer internships with Advanced Power and Controls LLC!
Watching students apply their classroom learning in real-world settings while building technical skills, confidence, and professionalism is what Work-Based Learning is all about.

Over the past two days, Purple Panther Preschool partnered with the Health Sciences 2 class for a Teddy Bear Clinic. Preschoolers brought in their favorite stuffed animals for a checkup. Both preschool and high school students had a great time!

We were proud to host the first annual CTE Honors & Scholarship Night on May 20th — an evening dedicated to celebrating the hard work, achievements, and future success of our students.

During the event, we recognized students receiving:
10 Town Fair Tire Toolship Awards (10 awarded)
CTE Honor Cords
Ambassador Cords
Scholarships generously awarded by the NHS Class of 1963 (16 awarded)
The Bakeshop Student Education Fund Award

We were also honored to welcome our guest speaker, Deb Hult, whose words of encouragement and inspiration made the evening even more meaningful for our students and families.

It was a special night celebrating the dedication, leadership, and accomplishments of our students as they prepare for their next steps in college, careers, and beyond.

A special thank you to our Culinary Arts Program for supplying a wonderful variety of light refreshments and tidbits for guests to enjoy at the end of the evening.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to our families, staff, community partners, the NHS Class of 1963, and all of our supporters for helping make this celebration possible and for continuing to invest in our students’ futures.

The Nashua Technology Biotech Team Places at Championships:

Congratulations to Jhanvi Desai and Lakshana Raghav, both members of the South Class of 2026 and two Honors Biotechnology & Biomedical Sciences 2 students who placed as Runners Up at the highly competitive Fourth Annual BioTrek Championship on May 21, 2026 in Manchester!

In this competition, student teams identify a medical problem, conceptualize a tissue-engineered medical product (TEMP), develop a business model, and pitch to a panel of representatives.

Jhanvi and Lakshana teamed up to design a product they called Sonara which is a biofabricated vocal fold replacement to restore functional breathing, swallowing, and vocal sound for patients suffering from vocal cord trauma and paralysis.

Sonara was the school winner, advancing to the Semi-Finals at the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI)'s Annual Meeting in the Millyard. They then won the Semis advancing to the Finals where they were judged by four biofabrication industry representatives from around the country. Jhanvi and Lakshana showed exceptional presentation skills and extensive knowledge about their product and its application while presenting and answering difficult questions.

A Memorable Day for Our Health Sciences 2 Class of 2026!

Today, we celebrated the Pinning and Cord Ceremony for our Health Sciences 2 class! This special event marked a significant milestone in their journey as future healthcare professionals. Each pin symbolizes their dedication and hard work, while the cords represent their achievements and commitment to excellence in their field

This event not only honored our LNA track students but also recognized our CPTA track students and Pharmacy Tech track students for their hard work and commitment.

A big thank you to everyone who attended and supported our students.. Your encouragement made this day even more special!
