Cross Country registration is now OPEN! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Students in grades 2–5 are invited to join us for the 2026 Cross Country season.

There is a cap on the number of runners we can accommodate this season, so we encourage families to register early! Registration will close at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, August 26th.

A 2026 Parent Permission and Waiver of Liability form must be completed for each student participating. The form is attached to the Registration link.

A $30 registration fee covers race fees and a Cross Country team T-shirt for your runner.

Families may also order additional team T-shirts for $15 each to show your Bobcat spirit from the sidelines! 🐾 Purchasing additional shirts helps offset the overall cost of running the Cross Country program and is greatly appreciated.

Financial assistance is available- We want every student to have the opportunity to participate! If your family needs assistance with the registration fee, please indicate this on the registration form.

All registration forms and payments must be submitted by 5:00 PM on August 26th for your student to be added to the team roster.

Practices:

Mondays from school dismissal — 4:15 PM

Monday, August 31st — October 19th (Celebrate the Run! 🎉)

Please note that there will be no practice on Labor Day, Monday, September 7th.

Save the Dates:

September 25 – 4:25 PM & 5:00 PM (Practice Race)

October 17 – 10:00 AM (City Championship Race)

Both races will be held at Nashua High School North.

📚 Back-to-School Information

Teacher assignments for students in grades 1–5 will be mailed on Friday, August 14.

Kindergarten information will be sent by email on Monday morning, August 10.

Supply lists for each grade level are available here:

If your child will not be attending Bicentennial this year, please call the school at 603-966-1760 to let us know.

The school office will be open 8:00 AM–12:00 PM through August 18, and will resume regular hours of 8:00 AM–4:00 PM after that.

Hello Bicentennial Families,

Our Grades 2–5 Cross Country season is just around the corner, and we are so excited to get our runners out on the course!

Before the season can begin, we need your help. Bicentennial Cross Country is a volunteer-run program, and we cannot safely start the season without enough parent volunteers. It truly takes a village to make this program possible.

There are volunteer opportunities for everyone—no experience is necessary! Whether you enjoy being active or prefer to help from one spot, we would love to have you. Volunteer roles include:

Running or walking with groups
Holding stop signs at crossings
Manning the first aid station
General assistance during practices
The time commitment is just 1–2 afternoons per week, from school dismissal until approximately 4:15 PM. No matter your experience or comfort level, we’ll help match you with a role that is a great fit.

Cross Country is more than an after-school activity—it’s a chance for students to challenge themselves, encourage one another, build confidence, and be part of something bigger. We hope you’ll join us in making this season a success.

🏃‍♀️🐾 Bicentennial Cross Country is Coming Back! 🐾🏃‍♂️

We're getting ready for another fun season of Cross Country and are looking for a few volunteer coaches to join our team!

No coaching experience is necessary—just a positive attitude and a willingness to encourage our runners. Whether you can help every week or just occasionally, we'd love to have you!

If you're interested, please comment below or email us with which day(s) Monday through Friday you're generally available. Your availability will help us build a coaching schedule that works for everyone.
