Loretta CR Hubley, owner and manager of Studio for Fine Art, is one of the feature artists in the exhibit "Inflection Point" at the Dover Art Center on Washington St, suite 1177, Dover, MA. The exhibit is honoring the founders of the NH chapter for their inspiration and planning thirty years ago. Current members will also be exhibiting, demonstrating that the founders' efforts have continued to help fellow women artists.

I recently viewed the art exhibit "New Objectivity" at the Neue Museum in NYC. The Neue Museum is across the street from the Metropolitan in NYC. Most of the show's art, done before the takeover of the Weimar Republic by the N**i Party, would have been previously classified with German Expressionism, but it did seem to merit a new classification as these works emphasize greater realism in an objective, though sometimes symbolic style, with less emotional distortion. This 1922 piece by Georg Scholz called "Of Things to Come" seems very relevant today. Loretta CR Hubley, artist and instructor at the Studio for Fine Art in Nashua. NH

Loretta CR Hubley will be attending the opening of "Proof of Concept" at the Canal Gallery. Cambridge tomorrow evening. Come see her print that was included in this juried exhibit of exploratory and experimental printmaking.

I usually post personally on my Loretta CR Hubley page, not under Studio for Fine Art. I reserve this area for art subjects, such as my recent acceptance to an exhibit of Contemporary Prints at the Mosesian Center..

Loretta CR Hubley has two pieces in the NH Women’s Caucus for Art’s Nashua Public Library exhibit RIVERS, whose opening is from 2pm-4pm this Saturday the 20th. The exhibit will be up through May 15th.

Travelled to Newport, VT to see the total eclipse... I didn't have a filter for my phone camera, so the middle is white instead of black, but I still think the photo is beautiful.
It took 12 hours to drive back!
