First Course Free for Rivier MSN Alumni

Advance your nursing career without putting your life on hold. Rivier’s flexible, affordable Doctor of Nursing Practice program is now 100% online and designed for working nurses.

The DNP can be completed in less than two years full-time, or part-time at your own pace.

If you earned your MSN from Rivier, you can receive your first DNP course free when you apply and begin classes in January 2027.

Serving the community, together 💙

As part of Rivier’s Student Success: Campus to Community courses, new students took part in the annual First Year Day of Service. Alongside peer mentors and instructors, students volunteered throughout the Greater Nashua community.

This year, students engaged in multiple service projects with Corpus Christi Food Pantry, Family Promise of Southern New Hampshire, Marguerite's Place, the Major Drive community, Nashua Conservation Commission, Nashua PAL, YMCA Camp Sargent, and Rise Against Hunger. Some projects included organizing donations, deep cleaning spaces, preparing camps for winter, and packaging meals.

Thank you to our community partners for helping bring Rivier's mission of "transforming hearts and minds to serve the world" to life.

Rivier graduate Joseph O’Reilly ’25 turned his student internship into a full-time career.

After accepting an internship offer with BAE Systems in Merrimack, he gained real-world experience, from managing contract closeouts to building professional connections.

Following graduation, Joseph joined BAE Systems full-time, carrying the experience and connections he developed as an intern into the next stage of his career.

What can a single bead become? Find out at Beaded Loveliness, an exhibition of handcrafted jewelry by Marcia Weiss at The Art Gallery at Rivier University.

Showcasing two decades of artistic exploration, the exhibition features intricate beadwork rooted in Indigenous traditions and reimagined through Weiss’s distinctive vision, creating wearable works of art.

Rivier’s Office of Global Engagement brought the campus and Nashua community together in September to observe Ganesh Chaturthi, a cherished Hindu festival honoring Lord Ganesha.

The event featured a traditional Pooja ceremony, the sharing of Prasadam, and an opportunity for students, faculty, staff, and community members to learn about and experience Indian culture and traditions.

The observance concluded with a farewell ceremony for the Lord Ganesha statue, a meaningful tradition marking the close of the festival.

This year’s week-long celebration was made especially meaningful through the leadership and dedication of Aikyam Foundation and its founders, Sateesh Biyyala and Sindhu Marru, who played an instrumental role in organizing and coordinating the festivities.
