We challenge students to seek the truth, honor differences, embrace community and nurture their minds, bodies and spirits. Our goals as a faith community is to provide academic excellen

ce and foster spiritual growth. Our world needs future leaders, and we make it our mission to form those individuals here at St. Joan of Arc Parish School opened in its Okauchee location in 1955 with 100 students housed in four classrooms and six grade levels. In 1997, the parish moved from its home in Okauchee to its new home in Nashotah. The first Mass in the new church was celebrated on Christmas Eve. The school continued to operate in Okauchee until August of 2002, when the new Education Center was dedicated by Bishop Richard Sklba. Since 2002, the school has continued to operate at its home in Nashotah. In 2008, the school was honored with Exemplary Accreditation in the area of Mission, Community and Climate by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. The school will be reaccredited by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and Wisconsin Religious and Independent Schools Accreditation through a site visit in fall of 2015. This Thankful Thursday, we celebrate the vibrant community that makes our school so special. We are deeply grateful for the Hispanic ministry across the St. Joan of Arc and St. Catherine of Alexandria Cluster Parishes. Please join us as we wish a very joyful Feliz Cumpleaños to Deacon Luis! A diverse parish community is a profound blessing to our students. When families from different backgrounds gather to worship together, our children experience a living example of faith that extends far beyond the classroom.

Building on this spirit of inclusivity and connection, we are thrilled to welcome Lake Country Spanish to our campus as they launch their after-school Spanish enrichment program, Bailamos y Aprendemos Español, starting this October! A wonderful addition to our Bilingual Enrichment program offered during school hours, Sra. McArthey is bringing our students an additional opportunity to embrace language learning, cognitive flexibility, and cultural appreciation right here at home.

Welcome to St. Joan of Arc School where everyone is valued, everyone has a purpose, and everyone has a place.

It has been an incredible few days back. Thank you to Arandas Mexican Grill Horicon and Will Krieger for providing the food and entertainment for welcome home night!

We are excited to welcome so many new families into our school community, and for our first Thankful Thursday, we simply want to say welcome!

Join us for a complimentary lunch featuring macaroni and cheese and hot dogs as we gather together in gratitude and fellowship.

We are truly thankful for the incredible mix of families, teachers, staff, and volunteers who bring their unique gifts and talents to St. Joan of Arc each day. It is this spirit of faith, family, and community that makes our school such a special place.

Join the SJOA church and school community for an evening of food, family, and fellowship as we kick off the new school year and celebrate the close of summer and the SJOA Summer Series!

Whether you're completing paperwork and preparing for the new school year, connecting with old friends, meeting new families, or getting a sneak peek inside the school, everyone in our community is invited to stop by!
