on my workbench this week: wathe 18", 6-way jointed Ballerina teddy is nearing completion. cut from a vintage string mohair with a twist, she is waiting for her tutu. (turquoise raw silk tweed with a black skirt) she is waiting for her new mom to name her.

on my workbench this week: the panda cub is almost finished!! it needs a bit more trimming, but the eyes are set and I finally figured out how to put a Kelly Dean nose on a panda bear!!

on my workbench this week: the panda cub is sitting pretty. I keep having to take it apart and reassemble it, but so far, I'm pleased. the face and claws are next!

on my workbench this week: working on a 24" realistic panda - and it's a lot more difficult than I thought it would be :-)

meet Odile, (Odile was the opposite dancer from Odette in Swan Lake - the original Black Swan, named by her new mom.) Cut from a black tipped-over rust Tissavel fur, she is 22" tall, 6-way jointed with a double jointed neck and a special 7th disk joint for her tail. Odile is dressed in a tutu with a black lace bodice over a stiff black hourse-hair fabric and a rust-colored pantlette. Her black skirt of made of black netting trimmed with black and gold gimp and tied on with rust silk ribbons. Her tutu is trimmed with peach fabric flowers, with gold lace adorning the edges, and centered on an antique flowered brooch. Like all Kelly Dean bears, she has trapunto leather paw pads and a leather nose
