Congratulations to rising Sophomore Jon Cottle for his excellent showing at VA State FFA Convention today! This was Jon’s first ever state event, and he competed in Discussion Meet, an event sponsored by VA Farm Bureau Federation and Farm Bureau Southern Life Insurance.

Jon advanced to the elite 8 round out of 23 participants!

Congratulations to Jon. We appreciate his stellar representation of Narrows High FFA and Giles County Public Schools!

It was a beautiful day in Wytheville, VA for our Appalachian Area FFA rally! Thank you to all of the adults who make this event happen!

Congrats to JON COTTLE for winning 🥇 place in our first ever time participating in the Discussion Meet event!!!

Livestock teams had a great showing, placing 11th and 19th out of 29 teams, with 5 of the 8 students never competing.

Olivia Vaughan scored in the top 11 of 100 contestants in her first ever judging event!
