Student Council members are ringing the bell at Martin’s Supermarket in Nappanee to support The Salvation Army. Stop by to say hi and drop some change in the kettle! We’ll be there until 4:00 today.

We are wrapping up our food drive tomorrow! It was sort of a slow start to the week, but student council is still busily gathering donations after school today! Our pile is growing. Tomorrow’s double point item is money! We would like to challenge every student to bring in $1 tomorrow. Let’s help FCDC support those in need in our community!

Student Council is sponsoring a food drive this week (Oct 27-31) to support FCDC. High school students can bring in non-perishable food items and/or money to their first period classes.

Students:
Are you interested in helping plan events like Homecoming and Sweetheart Weeks, the annual food drive, and the Semi-Formal Dance? Pick up an application for Student Council in Mrs. Harrington's (803) or Mrs. Porter's (812) room. Applications must be picked up by Thursday, March 27th and turned in by Friday, April 4th (or before you leave for Spring Break). In addition to the application, you will need to type your responses to several questions and get 3 teacher recommendations. The top 10 applicants in each grade voted in by their classmates will become members. Then, we will vote within student council for class officers.

The new trimester starts on Monday, and the annual Food Drive starts on Wednesday! There are “double point” items each day, but any non-perishable can be donated (no expired items please).
