Monday, May 15, 5:00. The NorthWood High School Softball Teams invite you to attend our annual Ounce of Prevention Cancer Awareness Game as we play host to Plymouth.

We are asking anyone who has personally been affected with cancer as well as those who have had or currently have a family member or friend affected by cancer to attend. Wear the color that represents the type of cancer that has affected you.

Everyone attending will be invited to take the field before the game as NW senior, Summer Stillson's grandmother and aunt (both affected by breast cancer this year) throw out the celebratory first pitches. We will take a (hopefully huge) group photo!

Admission will be FREE to all attending. NW Student council will collect your generous donations at the game that will go directly to Ounce of Prevention to raise cancer awareness and help those in need.

EXCITING NEWS! Ounce of Prevention will MATCH our fans' generous donations from this event up to $1,500 AND GIVE A COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP to a NorthWood High School Senior attending the game. To be eligible, ALL CURRENT NW HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS going to college next fall will need to arrive at the game before it starts, get an entry form from Norm Sellers and hand it back in after the game. The winning name will be drawn and announced at the NW High School Senior Awards Night.

It takes a Village! Come out and support this great cause, earn a NW senior a generous matching scholarship and see a great game! T-shirts will be on sale as well. Let's fill the diamond. Located at the softball diamonds at the entrance to McCormick Creek Golf Course in Nappanee.

Bring blankets, lawn chairs or whatever makes you comfortable. Arrive early for pre game celebration. GAME STARTS at 5:00, Monday, May 15.
