The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced the 2025-26 WGCA All-American Scholar Team on Monday with 1,551 student-athletes recognized. Butler's Kelli Scheck, Sophie McGinnis, Ashley Freitas and Cybil Stillson all earned a spot on the team.

Congratulations to Matthew Nettrouer for his incredible performance at the 2026 Indiana High School Clay Target League, where he finished in 2nd place with an outstanding score of 98/100 hit targets.

He also represented the Northwood High School Varsity Trap Team at the 2026 National High School Clay Target League in Mason, MI on July 11–12. Competing against 1,752 participants, he hit 99/100 targets in the qualifying round to advance to the finals. In the final round—where 17 competitors shot a perfect 100/100 and 35 competitors shot a 99/100, he finished with a score of 97/100 and a reverse scoring of 17 straight hit targets, earning 129th place overall.
