Weeks 11 and 12: PUMPKINS! We measured, compared, counted, felt, and more with pumpkins!

We got to wear costumes to school and had a costume parade! We walked through the other classrooms and found siblings and cousins everywhere!

Weeks 9 and 10 brought us firmly into fall. We studied apples, changes we find in fall and pumpkins. We had a special guest, Missionary Sue, who took us to Botswana. I love seeing the relationships that these kids are making!

Week 8: We had a short week this week due to fog and a teacher work day, but we still had lots of learning! We acted out the story of Moses being placed in a basket on the Nile River to give him safe. We continued to learn about fire safety, our Kimochis Huggtopus, went to chapel and saw Damascus Comfort Dog, and we learned so many things through play!

We have been BUSY since our last post! Weeks 5, 6, and 7 had us digging into dinosaurs, greeting grandparents and following fire safety!

Week 3 was full of Pete the Cat, the color blue, and animals everywhere!

Our 2nd full week was full of insects, songs, crafts, friends, and learning! We learned the 3 main body parts of an insect (head, thorax, and abdomen), that God's favorite creation is US, and found things that are brown. The different classes spent time painting, cutting, gluing, gathering, climbing, and even cleaning.

We are having a great 1st week in Preschool this year! We met Lovey Dove, practiced our routines and our friends' names. We had time learning through play inside and out!
