In Mrs. Lagace’s science class at our Doris Frey Campus, students are learning about the Earth’s surface using Thinking Maps.

Thinking Maps are visual tools that give students a way to see and organize their learning. For students with learning differences, this can make new concepts easier to process and understand.

Thinking Maps are just one example of the specialized strategies used throughout our classrooms. At EPA, our teachers are knowledgeable about learning differences and use teaching methods specifically designed to support our students’ needs, not just in reading, but across every subject.

We love seeing our students engaged in their learning and gaining confidence along the way!

In Mrs. Panzarella’s math classes at our Doris Frey Campus, students are learning math through hands-on lessons and activities that bring abstract concepts to life!

Students use popsicle sticks to explore tens and ones, base-ten blocks to build an understanding of place value, and fraction manipulatives to see how parts make a whole. These hands-on activities allow students to see, touch, and work with the math they’re learning.

Hands-on learning helps make abstract concepts more concrete and understandable, which can be especially helpful for students with learning differences. When students can physically interact with a concept, they have another way to make connections and build a deeper understanding of the math.

We loved welcoming our newest EPA families at our Brewing Connections New Family Coffee Hours at both campuses this week!

Families had the opportunity to meet our Founder and Head of School, Molly Arthur, and members of our leadership team, learn more about EPA, and connect with other new families.

Each family also received a few special gifts, including a keepsake photo of their child and a keychain made by our students.

It was a special morning filled with new connections and the excitement of beginning this journey together. We’re so glad you’re part of the EPA family!

Our 2025–2026 Annual Report is here!

Looking back on the past school year, we are grateful for all that God has done at Educational Pathways Academy and for the people who continue to make our mission possible.

This year’s report includes an exciting milestone for EPA as we earned accreditation through the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS). It also shares the story of our inaugural gala and the continued support of our community.

As we celebrate 10 years of EPA, we invite you to take a look at the past year and the impact your support has made in the lives of our students and families.

A new school year brings new routines, and homework is an important part of helping students build confidence.

At EPA, homework is purposeful and designed to review skills, reinforce learning, and build responsibility as students grow in their learning.

To help make the transition into the school year a little smoother, we’ve put together a few Homework Tips for Student Success to help families create a positive and productive homework routine at home.

We’re settling into our second week of school, and it’s been so much fun watching our students get to know one another!

At our Doris Frey Campus, Mrs. Lagace’s classes kicked off the year with some hands-on fun. Students decorated Potato Heads in creative ways and used them to share about themselves with their classmates. They also made bracelets together, giving them plenty of time to talk and connect.

We love seeing friendships begin to grow as our students settle into a new school year together!
