📸 Through the Eyes of Our Middle School News Team

This week’s chapel recap comes straight from our Middle School News Team, who captured both the photos and the story!

“Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing so some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” — Hebrews 13:2

Middle and Upper School students gathered for their first regular chapel of the year, reflecting on kindness, hospitality, and welcoming others. Through the story of Zacchaeus, students heard how Jesus chose kindness and connection, even toward someone others disliked.

Pastor Mona challenged our Knights to put that lesson into action by welcoming new students, reaching beyond their usual circles, and being open to making new friends.

Our weekly Chapel livestream is run by Upper and Middle School students thanks to the North Naples Church team who trains and oversees them. The Livestream can be found on our website or page.

This week we officially welcomed our 9th graders and new Upper School students into the next chapter of their TVS journey during our Matriculation Ceremony. This marks their first step into finding their place and purpose in our Upper School.

Each student received a key engraved with their graduation year, signed the Matriculation Book, and recited the Matriculation Oath; a promise of fellowship, integrity, accountability, respect, and lifelong learning. They will receive their keys back for graduation.

This tradition marks the beginning of their Upper School experience and their commitment to contribute their personal best to the success and spirit of The Village School community.

FAITH IN ACTION ✝️

Middle School Bible Study is one of the many elective classes available to our students, alongside choices in the arts, innovation, writing, and more!

Students began by creating order out of candy chaos, connecting the activity to the Creation story in Genesis and the way God brought order out of chaos. Next, they worked as a team to identify, locate, and place the books of the Bible in order.

What a meaningful way to bring faith-integrated learning to life during our first week of school! 💛
