One of the greatest strengths of Manatee Elementary is our exceptional educators. We invite parents, students, staff, and community members to recognize outstanding teachers for the 37th Annual Golden Apple Awards, presented by Champions For Learning. Thank-A-Teacher nominations are open through September 16, 2026. These nominations not only provide an opportunity to express appreciation for the remarkable teachers who make a difference every day, but they also play an important role in identifying Teachers of Distinction who are considered for Golden Apple honors.

🚨 PTO NEEDS YOU! 🚨

Manatee's Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is asking for your support by contributing towards the purchase of Spirit Day shirts for every student.

Any donation amount is greatly appreciated and will help ensure that each child has a shirt!

Ways to donate:
• Donate for your student’s shirt ($10)
• Sponsor a classroom
• Sponsor a student in need

Donations can be sent in with your student or dropped off at the front office.

August 11th marked our first day back at Manatee, and we couldn’t have been happier to welcome our students and staff back! 💛

One of our favorite Manatee traditions is asking students and staff to give us a little “first day check-in” and rate how their day is going. 💫

Listen in as our students and staff share what they’re loving about their day, their classes, their teachers, and, for a few of them… just how much they’re already missing their beds. 😂🛏️

First Day of School Ratings are in...! 🥁

We had an awesome first day at Manatee today with everyone smiling their way back to school. I mean, c'mon... look at all of these happy faces.

We did have some sleepy "eights" 😴 or not ready to come back "sevens" 😭 but other than the summer symptoms, we had a great first day together. We're looking forward to an awesome year. 💕

We are riding the back-to-school wave in style! 🌊

The first week featured a hearty Cracker Barrel breakfast and Jason’s Deli lunch. They were treated to festive mousepads, fun drink floats and homemade cookies from Baked with Love! ❤️

One more day of prep to go—we’ve got this! 💪
