Kayley Lyons is back again this fall to teach 3 wonderful art classes! She is offering Paint Your Pet Night, Chunky Knit Pumpkins, and Wreath-Making.

The descriptions of each class are below if you're interested!

Paint Your Pet Night:

In this class, you will learn how to paint your pet with no previous experience needed. Send a photo of your pet to the instructor, Kayley Lyons, ([email protected]) ahead of class time and you will use that photo as a reference to paint your pet! Graphite paper will be provided so you can trace the outline of your pet if needed. We will work on the basics of painting with acrylics and by the end of class, you will have a beautiful painting of your pet (or friend's pet!). This is a great class to relax, have fun, chitchat, and learn how to paint. All supplies are provided in class.

Chunky Knit Pumpkins:

Let's have some fall fun together and make beautiful, easy, knit plush pumpkins!! We will be using a big chunky yarn to create them. Instructor Kayley Lyons will walk you through the whole project from start to finish. No knitting experience is needed, this is a beginner friendly project. Join us to have a fun, fall filled night and go home with an awesome homemade decor item.

Wreath-Making:

Join instructor Kayley Lyons to create your very own handmade wreath! We will be using real evergreens collected by the instructor. You will learn how to assemble your wreath using a metal frame and wire and there will be ribbons and adornments to add on as well to make it even more festive! Get ready for a cozy evening crafting together. This class smells AMAZING with the fresh evergreens so don’t miss out!

Join along for this incredibly popular 10-week class! Once registered, you choose to attend all or some of the lessons: pot holders, table runners, jelly roll bags and baskets, paper piecing quilt items, and items using a serger sewing machine. Students bring their own sewing machine, fabric, and sewing supplies.

We're looking for a Part-Time Adult Education Math Teacher. This position can be up to 15 hours per week.

Seeking a part-time Adult Education Instructor, emphasis on math.
We are looking for a certified teacher for an Adult Education Instructor position. This position includes day and some evening hours. Position is based in Naples and includes some regular hours in Fryeburg.
Major Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver curriculum specifically for math, from basic literacy level through high school completion and college preparation
• Work collaboratively with staff and other teachers to provide optimal learning experiences for learners with diverse needs and backgrounds
• Provide instruction in multiple academic areas, with appropriate qualifications – required
Schedule: Up to 15 hours per week for 45 weeks between July 1 through June 30.
Compensation: Non-benefitted, $32/hour
Qualifications:
Possesses or can demonstrate eligibility for a Maine teaching credential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching academic subjects to adult learners
Familiarity with content standards and proficiency-based instruction
Knowledge of modern office technology and software, including learning management systems and student information systems
Self-driven, positive, creative, systems thinker, and passionate about education
