As you know, our current principal, Dr. Terri Lonneman, will retire at the end of the school year. While she will certainly be missed, our Toucan family is proud to welcome Rachael Cordeiro as the next principal of Golden Terrace Elementary.

Rachael brings 18 years of experience with Collier County Public Schools, where she has served as a classroom teacher, reading coach, and assistant principal. Most recently, as assistant principal at Big Cypress Elementary, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to student success, staff collaboration, and a positive school culture.

As an instructional and servant leader, she believes that “strong relationships are the heart of a successful school” and is passionate about open communication, teamwork, and shared leadership.

We are excited for the future under Rachael’s leadership and look forward to the continued growth and success of our students, staff, and community.

Golden Terrace teachers deserve this and so much more. Thank you for showing up, being willing to do hard things, and always doing what is best for our Toucans. We appreciate you so very much! Enjoy this week of being spoiled. 😎🥰🎉⭐️
