That question could be worth a scholarship!

The **Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW)** invite students to participate in their **2026–2027 Youth Scholarship Programs** centered around this year's inspiring theme:

⭐ **"What a Veteran Taught Me About America."** ⭐

✍️ **Patriot's Pen**
📚 Grades 6–8
Write a 300–400 word essay for a chance to earn scholarships up to **$5,000!**

🎙️ **Voice of Democracy**
🎓 Grades 9–12
Record a 3–5 minute audio essay and compete for more than **$2 million** in national scholarships, including a **$35,000 First Place Scholarship!**

📅 **Entry Deadline:** October 31, 2026

Help us spread the word to students, parents, teachers, homeschool groups, and youth organizations. You never know whose story could inspire a nation—and earn a scholarship along the way!

Registration for the new year 2026-2027 at Ingleside Homeschool Co-op is open! We have limited space due to high returning family enrollment. We have 7 open spots for grades 3rd through 5th and a review process for families with multiple children in other grades. All registrations will be reviewed and no guarantee of acceptance due to space.
