Hello homeschool families,
If you found my page you are probably interested in the magical world of homeschooling. Homeschooling can be fun and rewarding. However , it can seem overwhelming but I am here to help.

Our educational program is Monday- Thursday 9 am - 4 pm. We are closed April, August, and December. We teach all subjects including math, science, and language arts. We love homeschool life because it gives us time to teach life skills like roller blading, art, Spanish, making friends, chicken care, gardening in our food forest, and so much more! This year we have kids 2nd- 6th. Next year we are welcoming a group of kindergarteners. Your child can join now or we can make a plan for next year.

Another option we offer is Thursday Steam classes from 9 am - 4 pm. We teach math, science, art, Spanish, and give the kids time to build friendships. We have kids kindergarten - 6th grade. This is a great group of kids!

I also offer individual tutoring sessions. We discuss curriculum and your child’s abilities then we make a homeschool plan for your family. I meet with your child once a week to check work, teach the next lessons, and answer any questions. We work together to help make your homeschool student successful and homeschool life a little easier for you and your child.

I love teaching and I would love an opportunity to work with your child. We are direct providers for the step up grant. Send me a pm or post on here if you are interested in more information.

Be well

The kids have been enjoying learning about space!! Share this fact with them to spark a conversation. ❤️‍🔥

Earth feels big to us, but in the grand scale of the universe it’s tiny. Our planet is just 1 of 3.2 trillion planets in the Milky Way galaxy alone. Imagine that – trillions of worlds, each with its own story.

And our Sun? It’s just 1 of 200 billion stars in our galaxy. That’s right, our bright little star is one among hundreds of billions shining across the Milky Way.

But it doesn’t stop there. The Milky Way itself is just 1 of 2 trillion galaxies in the observable universe. Each galaxy is home to billions or even trillions of stars, planets, and unimaginable possibilities.

Thinking about this scale can make our daily worries feel small. It’s awe-inspiring to realise we live on a tiny speck in an infinite cosmic ocean. Yet here we are, exploring, learning, and dreaming about the universe around us.

The universe is vast, mysterious, and full of wonders waiting to be discovered. Keep looking up because every night sky tells a story bigger than we can ever imagine.

To celebrate Native American heritage the kids created a game to help teach us the foods the different tribes ate, we created our own totem poles with animals that represent ourselves, and we studied the different types of native shelters. Then we created some models! We had a longhouse, a tipi, and a tiny melting igloo!
