There is something special about taking the classroom outdoors. 🎨🌿

This morning, under the guidance of Mrs. Dix, our 7th-grade scholars took their art class outdoors to sketch from observation, carefully studying the beauty, proportion, and detail found in the natural world.

Through this practice, scholars strengthen not only their artistic skills, but also the habits of attention, patience, and wonder that are essential to a classical education.

At NCA, even a quiet morning with a sketchbook is an opportunity to seek what is true, good, and beautiful. ❤️💙

As a Hillsdale College Member School, Naples Classical Academy is part of a tradition of American classical education rooted in the liberal arts and sciences, civic virtue, and moral character.

Our scholars encounter the great works, ideas, events, and individuals that have shaped Western civilization and the American republic. Through the study of history, literature, mathematics, science, the fine arts, and civics, students learn not simply what to think, but how to think carefully, reason well, and pursue what is true and good.

The goal is more than academic achievement. It is an education that prepares students for lives of knowledge, character, and responsible citizenship.

🏗️ Another exciting milestone at NCA! ❤️💙

The steel has arrived for our new gymnasium, and construction continues to move forward!

It’s exciting to watch this space take shape piece by piece, knowing it will soon be filled with our Scholars learning, competing, performing, and making memories together.

We can’t wait to continue sharing the progress with our NCA community as our new gym comes to life!

A Friday glimpse into life at NCA. ☀️🌿

As another week comes to a close, we are reminded that a classical education can be both purposeful and joyful.

From our youngest Scholars forward, we are cultivating classrooms where children are known, encouraged, challenged, and taught to grow in both knowledge and virtue.

High expectations matter. So do wonder, friendship, encouragement, and the joy of being a child.

Because forming young minds and hearts is about more than what Scholars learn. It is about helping them become young men and women of character, courage, and wisdom.

This is childhood at NCA. This is classical education at NCA.
