On December 16th, one of our sweet second graders suffered a medical emergency. The medical outlook for Anwyn was dire, with the prognosis suggesting extensive brain damage from multiple strokes and significant brain bleed pressure that would result in profound disabilities, including the loss of sensory perception, speech, and motor skills. Anwyn’s family braced for the worst. However, the collective prayers of thousands seemed to pave the way for a divine intervention. On January 25, 2026, a miracle unfolded as Anwyn began to speak. This milestone was followed by her singing on January 28, 2026, and a return of her spirited and sassy self on January 29, 2026, as she admonished mom with a cheeky 'Do better' when mom forgot something. Since then, her progress has been nothing short of remarkable, a miracle! Anwyn's progress gives us hope and confidence in her resilience, however, the journey ahead will be long and difficult.
