☀️ Happy summer, Maplebrook! Thank you to our families, students, staff, volunteers, and supporters for another fantastic year together. Our community is one-of-a-kind, and we are so grateful you're a part of it.

Did you know that a Home & School volunteer manages our front entrance landscaping?? 🌷Thank you to Landscaping Chair, Megan Masar, for your work creating and maintaining these beautiful planters all year long!

🚨The weather may be warming up now, but you’ll be looking for these jackets and hoodies in a few months!!
Tomorrow is the last day to claim items from Lost and Found before they are donated. Students can stop by during the day, or parents are welcome to stop in after 2:30pm as well.

💐 Congratulations and thank you to Mrs. Buell and Mrs. Greco, who retire at the end of this school year. Mrs. Buell has been a devoted Maplebrook staff member for an incredible 4️⃣0️⃣ years!! As our Technology Support Assistant, she kept us logged-in for learning and has been an absolute wealth of knowledge for decades. We can't express how grateful we are for your 40 years of service to Maplebrook.

💙 We will miss both of our retirees dearly, and wish them so much happiness in the years ahead!

It's the season of celebrations! 🎉

🎓 Fifth Grade spent the day at Winding Creek Park last Thursday playing games, having lunch, and enjoying time together. Home & School was happy to provide lunch, and a gift for each student. Thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped the event run smoothly and donated items for the day.
Extra special thanks to 5th Grade Committee Chairs: Amy Churchill, Jena McKinnon, Blythe Munoz, and Colleen O'Donnell, for planning a wonderful event for our fifth graders.

☀️ Grades K-4 also had a blast last week at Field Day! Thank you very much to the MANY parents who volunteered to help us with games. We just loved seeing smiles on the kids' faces while they ran sack races and pizza box relays! So much fun!!
Special thanks to Mr. Barocio, and Field Day Committee Chairs Lin Xiong and Brenna Rock for planning an exciting and memorable day for our students!

💚 Thanks, as always, to our whole community for supporting Home & School this year. Your generosity allows us to host these special end-of-year traditions for our students.

💙 Today we recognize Mrs. Conger in honor of National Speech Pathologist Day! Not only does Mrs. Conger support countless students as our amazing Maplebrook SLP, but she also guides our walkers & bikers safely to school as our crossing guard in the mornings and afternoons. We're so grateful for her, for so many reasons! Be sure to wish her a Happy SLP day as you cross the street today!
