Learning disabilities in reading impact children without regard to IQ. They impact children whose homes overflow with books. They impact children who are read to every day. They impact children in every economic class and with every skin color.

Children continue to struggle because schools refuse to adopt evidence based, structured literacy curriculum and offer effective early intervention. We don’t lack the knowledge to help struggling readers, our schools lack meaningful action.
