During his Installation Mass, Fr. Christopher Lankford shared the mission that is guiding our parish family and school: Leading Souls to Heaven.

At the heart of that mission is a simple but powerful truth — our relationship with Jesus Christ must be our top priority.

Reflecting on the words of Hark! The Herald Angels Sing —

“Pleased as man with us to dwell, Jesus, our Emmanuel.”

— we are reminded that Jesus is not only God with us; He is pleased to be with us. Through His birth, His life, His sacrifice on the cross, and His presence in the Eucharist, Jesus continually draws near to us because He desires a relationship with each one of us.

As a parish family, we are called to help one another grow in faith, deepen our relationship with Christ, and share His love with the world. Together, we seek to become faithful disciples who know Him, love Him, serve Him, and follow Him.

🙏 Jesus, I trust in You.

May God continue to bless Fr. Chris and our entire St. Raphael Parish family as we journey together in faith and fulfill our shared mission of leading souls to heaven.

Summer Reflections: Celebrating Our Students’ Achievements

As we enjoy the summer months, we’re taking time to reflect on the many accomplishments that made this school year so special!

Congratulations to our talented 8th Grade History Fair Award Winners for their creativity, research, and presentation skills! 📚🏆

We also celebrate our St. Raphael Math Club students who represented our school in the IMSA Math Competition, showcasing their problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and innovative thinking. ➕➖📐🧠

We are so proud of all our Redwings for sharing their God-given talents and striving for excellence both inside and outside the classroom. ❤️🤍

May these memories inspire us as we look ahead to another wonderful year of learning, faith, and growth.

✝️ St. Raphael Summer Reflections: Living Stations of the Cross

As we look back on this past school year, one of the most powerful moments was our 8th Grade Living Stations of the Cross.

Through prayerful reflection and reverent reenactment, our students brought Christ’s Passion to life, helping our school community enter more deeply into the Lenten journey. Their faith, dedication, and witness reminded us of Christ’s great love and sacrifice for each of us.

🙏 These moments are a beautiful example of what makes Catholic education so special—students growing in faith while inspiring others to draw closer to Christ.

As we enjoy the summer months, we are grateful for memories like these that continue to strengthen our St. Raphael family and our commitment to being disciples of Christ.

St. Raphael Summer Reflections

As we enjoy summer break, we’re taking time to look back on some of the special moments that made this school year so memorable. One of our favorite highlights was Catholic Schools Week — a week filled with faith, fun, friendship, and Redwing spirit!

From celebrating Mass with Bishop Spies and learning together in our classrooms to cheering on classmates, honoring volunteers, welcoming Dads on Campus, and enjoying school-wide activities, every moment reminded us of the joy of being part of the St. Raphael family.

🙏 Though our hallways are quieter this summer, we are grateful for the memories we’ve made and the blessings we’ve shared throughout the year.

Here’s to celebrating the moments that brought us together and looking forward to another amazing year ahead!

📣 Reminder: Fall Sports Sign-Ups 📣

St. Raphael Athletics builds friendships and confidence, teaches teamwork, supports school spirit, and creates lasting memories for our kids! Whether your child is brand new to sports or already loves being part of a team — we need YOU! ❤️🤍

The success of our programs depends on participation from our families. We can’t field teams without enough athletes, so please sign up as soon as possible — especially for volleyball. Final numbers are needed by the end of the week for scheduling purposes.

🏐 Current Volleyball Sign-Up Numbers:
• 5th Grade: 4 girls | 4 boys
• 6th Grade: 9 girls | 1 boy
• 7th Grade: 4 girls | 6 boys
• 8th Grade: 9 girls | 0 boys

Ideally, we would like 7–9 athletes per team. While combining teams is possible, we would love to avoid that if we can!
