🍎✨ Celebrating a Year of Growth at St. Raphael Catholic School! ✨🍎
Thanks to the support of our families, faculty, parish, and community, we achieved several important goals during the 2025-2026 school year that will positively impact our students for years to come.
We are grateful for God’s blessings and the partnership of our St. Raphael families as we continue our mission of academic excellence and faith formation.

☀️ Summer Reflections: Our Dads Make a Difference ☀️
As we reflect on the many blessings of Catholic Schools Week, we are especially grateful for the incredible fathers who are such an important part of our St. Raphael community.
Throughout the year, our dads can be found on campus volunteering, helping with school activities, supporting events, assisting in classrooms, and partnering with our teachers and staff. Their presence helps create the strong family atmosphere that makes St. Raphael so special.
During Catholic Schools Week, many of our dads took that commitment one step further by visiting classrooms and sharing personal stories about their faith, family life, and the ways God has guided them through challenges and successes.
Their words left a lasting impression on our students. One teacher shared:
“My students were the quietest they had been all week because they were mesmerized by the messages they were receiving. Listening to parents talk about faith and how important it is to them makes a really big impact.”
In today’s world, our children benefit greatly from seeing faith lived out by the adults around them. The witness of these fathers reinforced the lessons taught at school and at home, reminding students that faith is not just something we learn about—it is something we live every day.
We Make a Difference.

☀️ Summer Reflections: The Power of Prayer ☀️
Before the lessons begin, before the bells ring, and before our students arrive in the classroom, the faculty and staff of St. Raphael Catholic School begin each day in a special way—together in prayer. 🙏
These moments remind us that Catholic education is about more than academics. It is about forming hearts, nurturing faith, and placing our trust in God each day.
We always conclude our prayer with a simple but powerful request:
✝️ “St. Raphael, pray for us.”
May our patron saint continue to watch over our students, families, faculty, and staff, guiding us ever closer to Christ.

☀️ Summer Reflections ☀️
As we look back on the school year, we remember our focus on the first virtue: Faith.
What is faith?
Many people think faith is opposed to reason or evidence, but as Bishop Barron explains, faith is much more than that. Faith is trusting in God’s promises and taking a step forward with hope, even when we cannot see the whole path ahead.
Just as the Founding Fathers took a courageous leap of faith when signing the Declaration of Independence, we are called to place our trust in God and follow where He leads.
As Fr. Chris often reminds us, the ultimate thing we hope for is Heaven. We may not see it yet, but faith allows us to trust in God’s love and strive to be with Him.
May we continue to grow in faith, trust in God’s plan, and embrace the adventure He has prepared for us.

🎶✨ A Rare and Unforgettable Musical Experience is Coming to Naperville! ✨🎶
For one night only, St. Raphael Church will welcome the internationally acclaimed Sacred Voices Choir, featuring singers from leading Roman and Vatican musical institutions.
This 40-member choir has performed in some of the most sacred and historic places in the world, including the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, and for Pope Leo XIV. Under the direction of Pontifical Cantore Adriano Caroletti, and accompanied by Josep Solé Coll, Organist of the Pope and St. Peter’s Basilica, this promises to be an evening unlike anything our area has experienced.
🎼 Hear the breathtaking music of:
• Palestrina (“The Prince of Music”)
• Perosi

☀️ Summer Reflections: The Bonds of a St. Raphael Education ☀️
One of the greatest gifts of St. Raphael Catholic School is the lifelong community that begins here and continues long after graduation.
Recently, members of the St. Raphael Class of 2022 returned to celebrate a special milestone as they graduated from high school.
The memories made in our classrooms, on the playground, at Mass, through service, and during school events create bonds that last far beyond eighth grade. As these graduates prepare for their next chapter, we are proud to see the remarkable people they have become and grateful that St. Raphael remains a place they call home.
At St. Raphael, we are more than a school—we are a family united in faith, friendship, and community.
Congratulations to the Class of 2022 on your high school graduation! We can’t wait to see where God leads you next.

Summer Reflections: A Beautiful Easter Vigil
As we reflect on the blessings of this past school year, we remember the joy of Easter and the beautiful faith journeys of several St. Raphael School families.
At the Easter Vigil, members of our school community received the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and First Eucharist, while students and families generously served throughout the liturgy.
Congratulations to all who completed their OCIA journey and received the sacraments this Easter season. May God continue to bless our wonderful St. Raphael families!
