Huge round of applause to everyone who competed in today’s 4-round Swiss tournament. Seeing so much focus, determination, and great sportsmanship across all three sections—U1200, U800, and U400—was incredible.

Whether you took home a trophy, earned your very first rating, or learned some tough lessons on the board, you should be proud of the effort you put into every single move today.

We are feeling called to use chess to do more in the community. Therefore, this fall we are forming 5 committees to use chess to serve the following groups:

Elderly/Senior Citizens
Adults With Disabilities
Kids With Disabilities
Veterans
Homeless

These initiatives won't make money, but they will make a difference.
