We are honored to announce that Dr. Anita Thomas has been elected by the Board of Trustees to serve as the 11th president of North Central College, beginning July 1, 2023.

A mission-driven leader, researcher, educator, and psychologist, Dr. Thomas is a champion of liberal arts and sciences education, particularly as a foundation for inspiring curiosity and civic engagement among students. With more than 25 years in higher education, she will bring deep experience in shaping strategic vision and supporting the development of student's intellectual growth.

A huge thank you to our incredible international faculty panel for sharing their stories today at our first session for International Education Week! It was impactful to hear how international education has shaped their lives and their experiences here at North Central.

International Education Week is the third week of November every year and is a joint initiative of the Department of Education and the US Department of State to promote international education in all its forms. Our office celebrates every year, but this year, we’re planning our biggest week yet! Please see our schedule of events for this week. We hope you can attend some or all!
