Day of Giving Student Spotlight: Lyndsey Glenn!

"Hello! I’m Lynsey Glenn, a Junior at North Central College. I am a History and Secondary Education major as well as the Vice President of the History
Club. I’m a transfer student and transferring here was such a great decision. The History department
allows us to do in depth research and enhance our abilities to be strong future historians. The skills learned in participating in research, also gives me
confidence in my future teaching abilities. I am currently refocusing on research I completed a couple years ago. It focuses on tensions between Evangelical and Catholic students during early North Central College history, and how this tension was manufactured to ensure funding. I really enjoy learning about religious divides throughout history. I’ve had so much fun researching these topics, and
this is just one of the many research projects I’ve done here at North Central College."

Donate here; we just need 12 more donations of $10 or more to reach our goal! https://give.northcentralcollege.edu/schools/NorthCentralCollege/day-of-giving-2026/pages/history-department
